Using FTP client
- Start your FTP client software.
- Enter the host name (FTP server name) as shown on the order confirmation fax.
- Enter the user ID (username) as shown on the order confirmation fax.
- Enter the password as shown on the order confirmation fax.

Using Microsoft Frontpage 2000
1. Open a web using MS Frontpage
- Start Microsoft Frontpage 2000
- Select "File" / "Open Web"
- Put your web server URL (including http://) in the "Folder name" input field
(e.g. http://www.customer.ch/) and click "Open"

- Microsoft Frontpage will ask about a username and password. Provide the webmaster
username/password that you received per fax on the order confirmation.
- Depending on your internet access bandwith, it will take some time to load your web
presentation.
2. Change the administrator (webmaster) password
- Open the Web using Microsoft Frontpage
- Select "Tools" / "Security" / "Change Password"
Note that this will NOT change your FTP password, if there is also an FTP account.
3. Create a web for a closed user group
If parts of your web site should not be available to all internet users, you can
create a private subweb.
Select "File" / "New" / "Web":

Specifiy the name of your new subweb (e.g. http://www.customer.ch/privateweb) and click
OK. The new web will be created immediately.
Open the new subweb and select "Tools" / "Security" / "Permissions". In the "Settings"
Folder, select "Use unique permissions for this web" and add users to in the
"Users" folder.


4. Using MS Frontpage and a FTP client at the same time
We don't recommend to use MS Frontpage and FTP access to your web site simultaneously.
